Selling prints directly.

Wed Feb 4, 2009, 1:31 AM
I've decided to no longer offer prints via the dA prints tool.

In future, I will sell them directly, so please do not tag print request onto my images in the future, but send me a note if you wish to buy one from my entire portfolio.

However, depending on the agreement with the models, some images may not be available at all.

Just ask. :)

Hello

And you print it and deliver by mail?

I'll keep posting new pics everyday. Add me to your watch-list and you'll see it in first hand

If you like my photo, :+fav: it and/or comment :D

Well, it's not made on an inkjet printer ... it's a real developed foto from a lab, on foto paper.

And yes, I'll send it by postal mail. (Registered if you like)

For simplicity's sake, I'll only have two formats:

40 x 60 centimetres (40 USD)
20 x 30 centimetres (25 USD)

plus S&H.

Ah - fantastic! I always thought DAs business model was - well - lets just say - I enjoy prints that are SIGNED by the artist - even in limited editions.

You may want to look into glicee printing as well - the colors are richer - and can be put on canvas - all kinds of stuff etc - and are more light fast than photo paper

What I'd like to see DA do is let you UNCLICK an accidental request for images. It's in DAs best interest to let these misakes through (because it makes the artists think that this is a good place to sell stuff) but they let us unclick :=fav:s, why not let us unlick requests

Does that mean you sell photos shot with film?

Not necessarily.
Even digital images can be developed on photopaper.
